BCP-157 Shows Promise for Knee Pain, Healing & Function
According to a study on intra-articular injection of BCP-157 for knee pain published on PubMed ( https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34324435) BPC-157 appears to be effective in improving recovery from knee injuries with noted benefits in:
- Reducing inflammation: BPC-157 helped in controlling inflammation in knee tissues.
- Enhancing healing: It accelerated the repair of various damaged tissues in the knee joint, leading to improved functional outcomes.
- Pain reduction: The peptide showed promise in alleviating pain associated with knee injuries and conditions.
Participants in the cited retrospective study received intra-articular peptide injections of BPC-157 only or a combo of BPC-157 and Thymosin-Beta-4 (TB4) 6 months or 12 months prior to the 1 year charted follow-up review with 91.6% patients treated with BPC-157 only and 75% of the BCP-157/TB4 combo group reporting significant improvements in their knee pain and function, including pain reduction, faster recovery, and improved joint function c for an overall total of 87.5% of all participants finding relief from knee pain.
These positive results suggest that BPC-157 may be a promising option for knee pain and injury recovery, though further clinical research is necessary.
